Does the term “The hardest working man in show biz” mean anything to you? Well it should because that’s exactly who Sam Sarpong is right now.
Sam is currently filming two movies [“No Weapon Formed Against Us” and “Trigger”] and now he has helped a brand open up a new store. This past Friday night [July 8, 2011], Sam Sarpong and American Vintage had a V.I.P. launch party to celebrate the opening of their new Westwood location. The event was a great one with so many of Sam’s close friends coming out to celebrate this accomplishment with him.
American Vintage is a brand that is very popular amongst a small percentage of the population. It is what we used to love to wear when we were younger and now we get to appreciate that vintage look once we are older. With stores in Fullerton, on Melrose, in Sherman Oaks and now in Westwood, you can find an assortment of unique looks to match the style you want to bring back to life. Whether it be that T-shirt look with some jeans or the cowboy boots with some very stylish accessories to match — you get to re create the style you loved so much back in the day. From Mens and Womens clothing to their vintage showcase — American Vintage is the place you should go to.
Living the V.I.P. Life
The guest list for this event included: Former “Girlfriends” cast member, Jill Marie Jones, Jason Weaver, “Take the Lead” star Dante Bosco, Coach Carter star Nana, “Bold and The Beautiful” star Texas Battle, actress Amy Holland, “Dreamgirls” star Keith Robinson, Reality star Poprah, “General Hospital” star Sean Blakemore, singer Tionne Williams, “One Tree Hill” stars Robert Buckley and Antwon Tanner and, once again, “Hangover 2” star Kim Lee. Kim Lee has been at a few of Sam’s events in the past few weeks including the Gsus Sindustries Launch Party at Cafe Entourage back in late June. Should we be writing a story on Sam Sarpong and Kim Lee? Only time will tell.

Q & A with Sam Sarpong
TSM: How does it feel to be apart of the American Vintage family?
Sam: It’s a great honor to be apart of the American Vintage family. I’ve always bought my classic Levis from the store so to be the spokesperson is the perfect fit!
TSM: How does this event compare to the launch party for Gsus Sindustries?
Sam: They don’t compare because the Gsus Sindustries event wasn’t as personal and it served a different goal. The American Vintage event was solely for industry professionals and was made to be very personal.
TSM: What do you like most about American Vintage and their clothing?
Sam: I can always find what I need there — especially one of a kind pieces that I can’t find anywhere else. I never have a problem fitting the clothes or accessories.
